As most artists do, early on I explored my talent by rendering and painting impressions or representations of things, scenes, objects. Over time and tribulations, I began to realize that exploring one’s talent and exploring one’s creativity can be two very different experiences. I feel a strong pull in the direction of abstraction as the purest form of creative expression. Moments of solitude in nature inspire abstract thoughts, abstract emotions, and ultimately abstract expressions.
