Bronwyn Groman
Growing up in California, in the foothills of the Coastal range, I began my fascination with art early
in life. My first real education in fine art was kindled by my high school art teacher, Robert Lozano. He recognized my skill and passion and encouraged me to pursue my creativity.
After a career as a graphic artist, I began my re-entry into oil painting as a student at the Sunset
Hill Studio in Seattle. I studied with co-teachers Pat Clayton and Janice Webb Kirstein. Since then I have worked with Ingrid Christensen, Jennifer Diehl, Phil Starke and Kelli Folsom. I am currently participating in a mentorship program with Liana Bennett.
I am delighted to have rediscovered oil painting as a way of sharing something of myself and
my creative perspective.
